Gallon House says Farewell.
Gallon House will be playing a farewell show on June 7th. We are about to become very horizontally challenged. Which is to say, Christiana is getting married and will be moving to New York with her fiancée, Scott for at least the next couple of years. So we won’t be planning any future shows, but we wanted to have one last chance to all get together! The farewell show will be at Seven Brides Brewing in Silverton on June 7th at 7pm. We will also be joined by Sky Bound Blue, a fantastic duo out of Portland.
Looking back…
It has been an incredible past year and so many people have been a part of that. We had a trip to Africa to teach music workshops. Our fans funded our new album (thank you!) and helped us to have some great shows releasing it. We’ve had TV appearances on AM Northwest and CCTV’s NW Songwriter Sessions and Misplaced. And we’ve played a bunch of shows and generally had a fantastic time! What an experience! We have loved working with each other, each one bringing our unique gifts to the table to make some great music together. We both feel that we have gained so much from the experience.
Well, what now?
Christiana will be pursuing different musical avenues on the East Coast as she is beginning her career as a solo artist. Matt will be performing in Oregon and in widening circles on the West Coast under his name, Matthew Price.
